Aurora Borealis

For two years, I lived and worked in Tromsø, Northern Norway, as a Northern Lights guide and photographer. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Arctic, I spent countless nights beneath the starry skies, chasing the glowing aurora borealis.

Guiding wasn’t just about witnessing the lights—it required careful preparation. I spent hours analyzing weather forecasts and cloud coverage, using that information to plan routes and locate the best areas with clear skies. Each evening was an adventure, often involving long drives through snowy landscapes to reach secluded spots far from artificial light, where the aurora could shine at its brightest.

Photography became a way to capture both the beauty of the lights and the journey itself. From peaceful fjords and quiet forests to the vast Arctic skies, my images reflect those unforgettable experiences and the profound connection I felt to this beautiful region.
